DESCRIPTION:A Main Hobbies is proud to announce the 11th Annual Labor Day Shootout\, a staple of the Northern California racing scene\, will be held Sept 4th through September 5h as the first major racing event held at the Silver Dollar RC Raceway since COVID hit! \nLocated on the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds in Chico\, CA\, Silver Dollar RC Raceway was built in 2012 as the ideal location for large RC racing events and was selected to host the 2013 IFMAR Electric Off-Road World Championships and various ROAR National and Manufacturer events . The Labor Day Shootout is the first opportunity since COVID for racers to compete on the fresh NorCal soil. Classes for 1/8-scale nitro and electric vehicles\, as well as electric short course trucks\, will be offered at this grand reopening event. \n“It has been tough to maintain our excitement for this!” said Kendall Bennett\, CEO of A Main Hobbies. “We’ve been planning the Labor Day Shootout since the COVID restrictions have lightened up and what an exciting way to reopen Silver Dollar RC Raceway to the big race scene  than to throw a big race and invite everyone.” \nThis outdoor 1/8th and SCT scale event race will be the first premier event at Silver Dollar RC Raceway for 2021.  A flowy awesome full size layout will go in place  for this year’s event on the Silver dollar RC Raceway 200 x100 track area. DESCRIPTION:AMain Performance Hobbies is proud to announce the 3nd annual 2020 California Carpet Cup. This 1/10th scale race is the first premier event at Silver Dollar RC Raceway for the 2020-season. A flowy\, larger 60×100 1/10th carpet layout has been designed for the race. Spring time weather makes for ideal cool temps for the carpet and ideal outdoor weather (NOT TO HOT)! This is one race you don’t want to miss to do battle on the carpet! SUMMARY:2017 Tekin Fall Brawl
DESCRIPTION:Fall is upon us and it’s time for AMain Hobbies’ 6th Annual Tekin “Fall Brawl” at the world-famous Silver Dollar R/C Raceway. The weather is cooling down\, which means 1/10 and 1/8th -scale racers will be converging in Chico\, California for the turf  track 1/10th and dirt track 1/8th racing \nSilver Dollar R/C raceway has been redesigned to support both 1/10-scale turf and 1/8-scale dirt racing \n \nThe new turf track will be done soon so stay tuned to our Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/amainrctracks/ \nThe track crew will be watering the 1/8th surface after every heat and with cool temperatures the surface will be nice and full of good grip—braap! \nThe Fall Brawl is a one-day race event on October 21st\, but racers can run the layout and practice on October 22nd. We have the privilege of having Shane Mouton/ Kevin Jelich call the racing action. Shane and Kevin did a fantastic job in 2017\, so it was only right to have him back as the race announcer. \nThere will be race classes for everyone including Open and Pro divisions based on skill level. Don’t forget the “First Family of RC” title. In 2012\, the title was won by Rob and Jared Chunn\, 2013 went to Rob and Jared Thulin and 2014/2015/2016 was awarded to  David and Jordyn Constant. This year’s format will be the same as in years’ past. We’ll be combining the finishes of kids 14 and under with their father’s finishing position. DESCRIPTION:AMain Performance Hobbies is proud to announce the annual 2017 Tekin Silver Dollar RC Shootout. This 1/8th-1/10th scale race is the first premier event at Silver Dollar RC Raceway for the 2017 season\, and will be the first opportunity for drivers to get practice for the  ROAR 2017 1:8th Electric Offroad Nationals in July! A flowy and awesome 1/10th and 1/8th combination layout has been designed for the race. Spring time weather makes for ideal wet track conditions! Plus\, many of the nation’s top factory drivers will be in attendance in preparation for the ROAR 1/8 Offroad Nationals.
