The Outback RC Raceway indoor off-road racing facility is located inside the AMainhobbies.com warehouse in Chico, California, however it has its own separate entrance and maintains its own separate hours of operation. The hours of operation for the off-road track are currently:

The track is open for practice during the week but the track doors will be locked. If you wish to practice during the week please go to our AMain.com retail store located at 2065 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy, Chico, CA 95928 and pick up a day pass for $10.00 or a $25.00 monthly membership that gets you access everyday with your own personal access card.
Our Friday night program start September 6th and Saturday indoor race program will be back October 31st. We will be racing on Friday nights at Outback Raceway and Saturdays at Silver Dollar RC Raceway. See our race calendar for complete calendar of 2013 race events and club races.
Our normal club race schedule is to race every week on Friday nights at Outback and Saturday at Silver Dollar Raceway. Since the schedule can change, please check our Race Calendar for the current racing schedule as sometimes those dates may move depending on other races going on at that time.If you have comments or suggestions about the track, please visit our message board forums. On race day, the track will open earlier and potentially stay open later depending on when the races are all done. The following is the normal race day schedule:
Friday Night:
Doors open at 2:00pm for open practice
Racing starts at 7:00pm
Racing usually completed by 10:00pm

Saturday:
Doors open at 8:00am for open practice
Racing starts at 12:00pm (noon)
Racing usually completed by 5:00pm
Track Store open from 8:00am – 3:00pm
On Saturday race days we run three qualifiers and then the main events. On Friday we run two qualifiers and the main events.
Outback Raceway will be closed the following dates to allow time for changes to the layout for the ensuing annual event. Please mark your calendar for the following dates.
